Induction Functor in Non-commutative Equivariant Cohomology and Dirac Cohomology

چکیده
The aim of this paper is to put some recent results of HuangPandz̆ić (conjectured by Vogan) and Kostant on Dirac cohomology in a broader perspective. This is achieved by introducing an induction functor in the noncommutative equivariant cohomology. In this context, the results of Huang-Pandz̆ić and Kostant are interpreted as special cases (corresponding to the manifold being a point) of more general results on noncommutative equivariant cohomology introduced by Alekseev-Meinrenken.

Ring structures of mod p equivariant cohomology rings and ring homomorphisms between them
In this paper, we consider a class of connected oriented (with respect to Z/p) closed G-manifolds with a non-empty finite fixed point set, each of which is G-equivariantly formal, where G = Z/p and p is an odd prime. Using localization theorem and equivariant index, we give an explicit description of the mod p equivariant cohomology ring of such a G-manifold in terms of algebra. This makes ...

The construction of topological index maps for equivariant families of Dirac operators requires factoring a general smooth map through maps of a very simple type: zero sections of vector bundles, open embeddings, and vector bundle projections. Roughly speaking, a normally non-singular map is a map together with such a factorisation. These factorisations are models for the topological index map....

ABSTRACT. Let R be a commutative noetherian ring, I and J are two ideals of R. Inthis paper we introduce the concept of (I;J)- minimax R- module, and it is shown thatif M is an (I;J)- minimax R- module and t a non-negative integer such that HiI;J(M) is(I;J)- minimax for all i

Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring, I an ideal of R and M a non-zero R-module. In this paper we calculate the extension of annihilator of local cohomology modules H^t_I(M), t≥0, under the ring extension R⊂R[X] (resp. R⊂R[[X]]). By using this extension we will present some of the faithfulness conditions of local cohomology modules, and show that if the Lynch's conjecture, i...
متن کاملSome Remarks on the Structure of Mackey Functors
All Mackey functors over a finite group G are built up by short exact sequences from Mackey functors arising from modules over the integral group rings of appropriate subquotients W H of G. The equivariant cohomology theories with coefficients in Mackey functors arising from W H-modules admit particularly simple descriptions. Let G be a finite group. The notion of a Mackey functor plays a funda...
